AZ - Pediatric Acute RN Days — Travel registered nurse position in Tuba City, Arizona. Start date: 04/20/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: 2,457 to 2,500 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 4x10-hour days. Facility type: Surgery Center providing pediatric acute care in an ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional pediatric nursing care in an acute/ambulatory surgical setting, with focus on pre/postoperative assessment and stabilization as needed
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; manage IV therapy and monitor response to treatment
- Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, labs, pain, and overall patient status; respond promptly to changes in condition
- Document care accurately and consistently; ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to policies and procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and interprofessional teams; educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
Requirements
- Current RN license in any state, territory, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico; unrestricted and active
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association) required; complete Complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) completion within 6 months of hire
- Ability to work in a fast-paced pediatric acute care environment within a surgical center setting
- Must meet all listed certification/education requirements and be able to work per assigned shifts
