Travel assignment starting 03/30/2026 for 15 weeks in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Earn $730-$739 per week, with no guaranteed hours. Shifts are 3x12-hour rotating, with day and/or night coverage as needed. This is a travel temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care and non-professional services to address personal needs and comfort, supporting dignity and healing.
- Perform vital signs and activities of daily living per plan of care; participate in hourly rounding and document care rendered.
- Assist with meal delivery, tray setup, adaptive equipment, feeding assistance, and nourishment distribution while honoring patient choices.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety; turn and position patients, provide skin care, respond to call lights/alarms, and prepare environment (mats, low beds) as needed.
- Support rehabilitation goals per the care plan, including ROM, ambulation, transfers, proper body alignment, and use of assistive devices; document rehab progress per guidelines.
- Identify changes in patient status and report promptly to the nurse; participate in shift handoffs with complete, relevant information for patients cared for.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school graduate or equivalent; post-secondary education in health/human services.
- Certification: BLS certification (American Heart Association or RQI) required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of customer service and/or health-related experience, preferably in Med/Surg/ED/ICU.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, basic computer literacy, and a patient-centered approach. Ability to work in a hospital short-term acute care setting and to respond to patient needs promptly.
- Safety: Willingness to work in an environment with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
