Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care to adults on a mixed Med/Surg unit
- Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy according to prescribed orders
- Perform focused assessments, implement plan of care, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
- Prioritize safety, prevent complications, and respond rapidly to changes in patient status
- Maintain accurate and timely charting and ensure continuity of care across shifts
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in Georgia (GA) in good standing
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg experience; level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital setting experience preferred
- Ability to work the 12-hour night shifts on a 3-night-per-week schedule
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a fast-paced hospital environment
