Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Sonora, California, United States. Start date: 07/20/2026 for an estimated 13-week contract. Weekly pay range: $1,431 to $1,518 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU, maintaining safety and comfort.
- Monitor hemodynamics, respiratory status, and neuro status; manage ventilators and monitor devices as ordered.
- Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders; adjust treatments within scope of practice.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the care team to implement and update individualized care plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record; ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Respond to patient clinical changes and emergencies; participate in care coordination and family communication.
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (California licensure preferred given location; otherwise active RN license)
- ICU/critical care nursing experience required or strongly preferred
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Education: nursing degree (Associate’s degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- Ability to work the night shift and to fulfill a travel assignment in Sonora, CA
- Onboarding will include standard credentialing; additional onboarding details (e.g., Start date, RTO, DOB, middle name, SSN) will be collected through secure processes
