Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents under supervision of an OT
- Assess functional status and develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence
- Implement, monitor, and adjust therapy interventions; document progress per policy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety and infection control compliance
- Participate in discharge planning and caregiver education to support continuity of care
Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
- Current credential in good standing to practice as a COTA
- Experience in rehabilitation or skilled nursing/geriatric settings preferred
- Ability to work days and participate in a 13-week travel assignment
- Comfortable working in a skilled nursing setting in Butte, MT
