Travel Registered Nurse House Supervisor Job
Registered Nurse – House Supervisor (Travel) in Morrisville, Vermont, United States. Start date: 04/20/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,524-$2,643 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Days. This travel assignment places you as the on-site administrative lead for clinical and managerial functions during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays in an inpatient, acute-care environment. You will collaborate with Department Heads to provide leadership, consultation, and coordination in a dynamic, multidisciplinary setting and serve as the primary back-up for front-line managers in their absence. The House Supervisor plans for, leads, coordinates, and facilitates the provision of quality care and service from a shift-specific perspective, aligning with department goals and objectives. The role includes staffing, patient/family relations, risk management, clinical coordination, patient placement, public affairs and communications, evaluation, and mentoring. You will oversee the distribution and allocation of supplies and equipment and ensure adequate staffing mix to deliver necessary clinical services.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site administrative lead for clinical and managerial functions during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays, ensuring continuity of care and operations.
- Collaborate with Department Heads to provide leadership, consultation, and coordination in a multidisciplinary environment; act as primary back-up for front-line managers in their absence.
- Plan, lead, coordinate, and facilitate the provision of quality care and service from a hospital-wide, shift-specific perspective; support department goals and objectives.
- Address staffing, patient/family relations, risk management, clinical coordination, patient placement, public affairs and communications, evaluation, and mentoring.
- Ensure appropriate distribution and allocation of supplies/equipment and maintain adequate numbers and mix of staff to deliver necessary clinical services.
- Facilitate issue resolution and escalation as needed; promote safety, quality improvement, and collaboration across disciplines.
Requirements
- Active RN license in Vermont (or the state where assignment is performed).
- Willingness to work days in a travel assignment with coverage for off-shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Experience in clinical leadership or supervision within a multidisciplinary setting preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage staffing, patient placement, and operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel-ready and able to relocate to Morrisville, Vermont for the 13-week assignment.
