Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed respiratory therapies and diagnostic services to patients across age groups using evidence-based cardiopulmonary techniques.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans in alignment with physician orders and protocols.
- Provide ventilator management, airway clearance therapies, aerosolized medications, and weaning support as directed; perform routine ventilator checks and respond to alarms.
- Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, nebulized treatments, and other related modalities; ensure equipment is clean, calibrated, and functioning properly.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team; participate in rounding and care planning; communicate changes to the Care Team.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and documentation standards; maintain accurate records in the patient care system and ensure compliance with departmental policies.

Requirements
- NBRC-RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification/registration active and current
- Oregon state Respiratory Care license active
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required for this assignment
- Two (2) years of clinical Respiratory Care experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with a rotating shift schedule and travel assignment requirements
