Responsibilities
- Assess patients upon admission using interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current status, vital signs, labs, imaging and other diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement a written care plan under physician direction, coordinating care across disciplines.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Monitor and document patient status, promptly communicating changes to the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide patient and family education, maintain patient confidentiality, and advocate for cultural and age-appropriate care.
- Ensure adherence to nursing standards and safety protocols within a fast-paced ER environment.
Requirements
- Active New Hampshire RN license or eligibility to obtain NH RN license
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Clinical experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and fulfill night-shift requirements
