Travel Radiology Tech CT Tech Job
CT Technologist (Radiology) position in The Dalles, Oregon. This travel assignment starts August 24, 2026 and runs for 16 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 3x12-hour day shifts (approximately 7:00 AM–7:30 PM). Work setting is a short-term acute care hospital. Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images; perform additional imaging procedures as needed (general radiography and fluoroscopy).
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation; ensure image quality and proper labeling.
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate destination; maintain accurate patient records and billing information.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; safeguard image integrity and data accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment; manage supply inventory and assist with department workflow.
- Assess and care for patients across adolescence to geriatric ages, ensuring safety, comfort, and procedural readiness during imaging.
Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT certification in CT (R.T. R(R)(CT) or R.T. R(R)); Advanced CT certification required for OR/HI (preferred for CA). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent radiology experience in a clinical setting.
- Additional credentials: EPIC experience required; fluoroscopy license and venipuncture certification preferred (state-specific preferences noted).
- Other: Must be able to work a 3x12-hour daytime shift in a short-term acute care environment; able to operate within HIPAA guidelines and perform duties in The Dalles, OR.
