Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for radiologist interpretation
- Perform CT procedures and support additional imaging services (general radiography and fluoroscopy) as needed
- Ensure image quality, appropriate patient positioning, and adherence to radiation safety principles
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the radiology team; maintain accurate patient records and billing information
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of patient data in compliance with HIPAA; participate in routine equipment maintenance and inventory management
- Assess patients across adolescent to geriatric populations, ensuring comfort, safety, and effective communication during imaging procedures

Requirements
- ARRT certification: RT(R)(CT) or RT(R) with CT certification required; ARRT-CT credential preferred or required as specified
- Advanced CT certification: Required in OR and HI; preferred in CA
- Licensure/Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; fluoroscopy license in the state of employment preferred (CA and OR referenced)
- Experience: At least two years of recent radiology technology experience
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Additional: Venipuncture certification preferred; current nursing license per the state of assignment
