Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Utica, New York. Start date 06/15/2026 for an 8-week engagement with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift structure: 2x3 days. Weekly pay range $2,209.00 to $2,268.00 per week. Work setting: hospital-based emergency department.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ED for a wide age range, including newborns through geriatrics, with emphasis on rapid assessment, triage, and prioritization.
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, administer medications, and respond to emergencies (e.g., stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest) per established protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary ED teams, participate in patient flow, and assist with high-acuity and low-acuity cases as needed.
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record for orders, documentation, and communication with team members; maintain accurate and complete records.
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and referrals as appropriate; ensure safety, infection control, and quality standards are upheld.
Requirements
- Active New York RN license (NURSYS verification required) and licensure for all RN licenses as applicable.
- 2+ years of ED experience with some pediatric exposure; travel experience required.
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC required to be in hand.
- EMR experience: EPIC.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment; floating may be required.
- Driver’s license with address that matches demographics; RTO (time off) must be included at time of submission.
- Local candidates within 75 miles may qualify for the local rate.
