Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care within the LPN scope of practice in a long-term care setting
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, document administration accurately, and monitor for adverse reactions
- Assess residents’ condition, perform routine nursing tasks (vital signs, wound care, catheter care as applicable), and report changes to the supervising RN or physician
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in the resident’s chart and MAR, ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with the nursing team to制定 and implement care plans, promote safety, and support activities of daily living
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico (NM LPN)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Preferred: 1 year of licensed practical nursing experience in a long-term care setting
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (06:00–18:30) and meet guaranteed hours
- Local to Silver City, NM area or within reasonable commuting distance
- Ability to pass standard pre-employment screenings and compliance checks
