Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services under supervision of a licensed physical therapist in an LTAC/nursing home rehab setting
- Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, strength, ROM, and functional mobility activities
- Assist with patient evaluations and progress notes; document interventions and outcomes in the patient record per policy
- Monitor patient responses to therapy, report changes, and ensure patient safety and infection control during all activities
- Collaborate with the PT, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team to coordinate care and optimize patient progress
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and ongoing self-management strategies

Requirements
- Willingness to work in a LTAC/nursing home environment in Waldorf, MD
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours
- Ability to work 8.5-hour day shifts (08:00–16:30) and maintain 35 guaranteed hours per week
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow a plan of care under supervision
- Prior physical therapy assistant experience in inpatient, subacute, or LTAC settings preferred
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
