TX SLP Ennis Care Center — Speech Language Pathologist in Ennis, Texas. This travel assignment starts on 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to residents in a long-term care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Evaluate and treat communication disorders, swallowing difficulties, and cognitive-communication deficits as appropriate.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, revise goals, and document progress for each resident.
- Communicate findings and progress to the care team, physicians, and families; participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary planning.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and facility policies.
- Support discharge planning and referrals to additional services when indicated.
Requirements
- Active Texas licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology or eligible for licensure in Texas.
- Ability to participate in a travel assignment and commit to the 13-week contract duration.
- Experience with geriatric populations or in a long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient documentation and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
