Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care Job
Overview
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a focus on long-term care is available for a travel-style temporary assignment in the Albuquerque area. This position runs for six weeks with a guaranteed 36 hours per week on a 3x12 night schedule beginning late July. The assignment is in a skilled nursing setting serving adult residents requiring comprehensive, supervised care. Local candidates only.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to residents within the LPN scope under supervision or collaboration with RNs
- Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders; perform routine wound care and dressing changes
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility; promote safety and fall prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record; report changes promptly to the care team
- Adhere to infection control standards and complete necessary care plans and MAR/charting requirements
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico (or eligible for licensure by endorsement)
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
- Ability to work the 18:00–06:30 night shift on a 3x12 schedule
- Prior LPN experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
- Proficiency with electronic health records and strong communication skills
