Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision of the registered nurse.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and facility policies.
- Conduct resident assessments, monitor for changes in condition, and promptly report findings to the supervising RN.
- Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal hygiene to support resident comfort and safety.
- Document all care provided, vital signs, and responses to treatment, maintaining accurate and compliant charts.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans and participate in care conferences as needed.
Requirements
- Active practical nursing license (state verification will be performed)
- Ability to work the night shift (18:00–06:30)
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting with residents and their families
- Demonstrated reliability, teamwork, and commitment to safety and quality of care
