Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Monitor patient status, interpret data, and intervene as patient conditions change
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and safety protocols
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels and coordinate with other disciplines
- Develop and implement patient care plans, participate in discharge planning, and provide patient/family education
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment
Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in the state of practice (California required)
- BSN preferred
- Minimum two years of recent ICU/acute care nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity ICU setting
