Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing care on the assigned shift, ensuring resident safety and adherence to care plans
- Supervise nursing staff, delegate tasks, and provide guidance to licensed and ancillary team members
- Monitor residents’ condition, document care plans, and ensure accurate charting and documentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies; participate in quality improvement activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and communicate with physicians, therapists, and families as needed
- Respond to urgent situations, coordinate on-shift activities, and complete incident reporting and follow-up
Requirements
- Ability to work the listed night shift consistently (11:00 pm–7:00 am)
- Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced long-term care setting with diverse resident needs
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment with assignment-specific requirements
- Commitment to patient safety, high-quality care, and adherence to policies and regulations
