Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures and other radiology duties as assigned, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
- Rotate among modalities as needed; occasionally work night shifts if absolutely required; weekends are required.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and adherence to ALARA principles during imaging.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (Epic) with recent experience using the system.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely, accurate diagnostic information; support unit patient care needs.
- Ensure familiarity with equipment and workflows, with preference for Philips CT systems where applicable.
Requirements
- Active ARRT CT certification; ARRT radiography certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of CT/Radiology experience
- Prior travel experience required; Philips CT experience preferred
- Epic experience within the past 2 years is required
- Multimodality capabilities; willingness to rotate modalities and cover weekends as needed
- Must be able to work in a hospital setting with rotating schedule; no block scheduling
- Reliable transportation due to limited public transit in the area
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; complete work history (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) is required to submit
