Radiation Therapist Travel assignment in The Dalles, Oregon. Start date 11/02/2026 for a 13-week assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $2,689 to $2,856. This travel role requires active licensure/certification appropriate for therapeutic radiologic practice and will be performed in a hospital-based radiation therapy environment.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed radiation therapy to patients in accordance with prescriptions and the patient’s identification and treatment plan.
- Explain procedures to patients, provide ongoing communication during treatment, and support patient comfort and safety throughout sessions.
- Deliver the prescribed daily dose while strictly observing radiation safety measures for patients and staff.
- Prepare treatment room and equipment, including immobilization devices, position patients on the treatment couch, and ensure proper immobilization and alignment.
- Monitor patients for unusual reactions or signs of complications during treatment and promptly report observations to the supervisor and department physician.
- Maintain accurate records, including daily treatment logs and patient charts, and review data to support correct documentation and treatment continuity.
- Provide clinical supervision and evaluate the practical performance of students or trainees as assigned.
- Perform other job-related duties as needed within the department.
Requirements
- Current ARRT registration in Radiation Therapy (R.T.(T)) and applicable State RTT certification; active licensure as required by the practicing state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; facility policy requires this credential.
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in the field.
- Preferred experience with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and Mosaiq EMR.
- Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
