Travel - Temporary Assignment

Duration: 12 weeks
Weekly pay: $2,813 to $2,923 per week
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
Work setting: Hospital-based travel assignment in the Glendale area

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to obstetric and newborn patients following the nursing process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, assist during labor and delivery, and support pain management
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, neonatal care, and ancillary staff to coordinate comprehensive care
- Perform comprehensive assessments, document findings, develop and adjust care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families, participate in discharge planning, and facilitate safe transitions of care
- Respond to obstetric emergencies, provide timely interventions, and delegate tasks to the nursing team as needed
Requirements
- Current California Registered Nurse license
- BLS/CPR certification from an approved vendor per policy; ACLS certification; NRP certification
- BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent obstetric/L&D or acute care nursing experience
- Ability to work night shift in a hospital travel assignment
- Eligible to work in the United States
