Cardiovascular Technologist – Electrophysiology (EP) Tech travel assignment in Trenton, New Jersey. Start date 07/14/2026 for 8 weeks. Guaranteed hours 40 per week. Responsibilities
- Assist the electrophysiology team during EP studies and ablation procedures, including support for Watchman device cases, under supervision.
- Prepare and operate EP lab equipment and monitoring systems; track intracardiac signals as directed; document procedural data.
- Maintain sterile technique, patient safety, and accurate post-procedure care; assist with patient transport and recovery staging.
- Manage equipment readiness, perform routine checks, troubleshooting, and inventory of EP lab supplies.
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and applicable credentialing requirements (ACLS/BLS, NJ licensure).
Requirements
- Active New Jersey license to practice cardiovascular technology or equivalent as required by the state
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of EP lab experience with ablations and Watchman device cases
- Flu vaccination required (declinations accepted)
- Ability to work the listed shift pattern and a hospital/clinical setting; no weekend, holiday, or on-call obligations for this assignment
