Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses; document in the chart
- Assess resident needs and contribute to individualized care plans; adjust as directed
- Assist with activities of daily living and support rehabilitation goals
- Monitor vital signs, identify changes, and escalate to the supervising nurse per protocol
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safety, infection control, and quality-of-care standards
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Mexico
- Ability to work the specified shift (06:00–18:30) and commit to a 12-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow physician orders and facility policies
- Willingness to travel for temporary assignment to Albuquerque, NM
