Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines using critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Develop and implement care plans, address patient needs, and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, healing, and compassionate care; participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
- Document assessments, plans, interventions, and progress in the designated electronic health record; ensure accurate data sharing with the care team.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; provide education to patients and families as part of care delivery.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California (state of practice) – Required
- Minimum two years of recent RN experience in the field – Required
- CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – Required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification – Required
- EPIC electronic health record experience; BSN preferred
