- RTO: minimal; candidates with more than 10 days RTO are not submitted

Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for diverse OR cases, including general surgery and specialty services (orthopedics/total joint, trauma, neuro/spine, vascular, thoracic, GYN/urology, bariatric, ENT, plastics) with robotics (Da Vinci Xi)
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to universal protocol and time-out procedures
- Manage intraoperative flow, blood products, specimen handling, and specimen labeling
- Document perioperative care in the Epic charting system; maintain accurate, timely records
- Collaborate with IV teams, PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary staff; participate in rapid response as needed
- Maintain appropriate patient-to-staff communication; support 1:1 patient care as per daytime and nighttime ratios; participate in call coverage
- Float to other areas as needed while maintaining OR readiness and aseptic technique

Requirements
- Active NY RN license required in hand to submit; pending licenses not accepted
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience (scrubbing and circulating)
- Epic charting experience required
- Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- BLS certification required
- CNOR certification may be required; verify with account manager
- Mandatory competencies: phlebotomy and IV insertion
- OR proficiency across multiple specialties, including robotics (Da Vinci Xi) preferred
- RTO: minimal; cannot submit candidates with more than 10 days
- Location consideration: Rochester, NY; candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible
