Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ER, including initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, triage, and intervention as needed
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technicians, and other disciplines to coordinate timely, safe care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately; participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Support supervision and delegation of tasks to assigned nursing staff while maintaining patient safety and standards of care
- Participate in continuous improvement and ensure adherence to infection control and safety policies

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS or AHAS-BLS; ACLS; PALS; NRP required
- At least two years of recent ER/acute care nursing experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment and perform 12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM–7:00 PM)
- Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and effective communication
