Registered Nurse – Stepdown travel assignment in Pocatello, Idaho, starting 05/04/2026 for Weeks. Weekly pay: $1,631–$1,696. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in the PCU/stepdown, including post-PCI and post-open-heart surgery care.
- Monitor telemetry and dysrhythmia, and manage cardiac/vasoactive infusions per protocol (no titration).
- Central and peripheral line care, blood product administration, and non-invasive airway management (BiPAP/CPAP).
- Prepare for and participate in emergent cardioversion as needed; support rapid response and code events.
- Collaborate with IV teams, PT, RT, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response, pharmacy, transport, and unit secretary; document in Epic.
- Maintain infection control practices, patient safety, and daily census considerations on a 24-bed unit.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Proficiency in telemetry/cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
- Experience with Epic charting
- Ability to work the 3x12 night shift on a PCU/stepdown population, with travel assignment within a 100-mile radius
