Registered Nurse – Med Surg Telemetry in Rochester, NY, starting 07/06/2026 for 9 weeks. This travel - temporary assignment features 12-hour shifts in an inpatient acute care setting. Weekly pay range: $1,929 per week to $2,068 per week. No guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Med Surg Telemetry unit, including telemetry monitoring, administration of medications, IV therapy, wound care, and basic procedures as assigned.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, document findings, and contribute to ongoing care planning and clinical decision-making.
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and multidisciplinary staff; participate in handoffs and daily rounds to ensure continuity of care.
- Manage discharge planning and patient education, including tailoring instructions for patients and families.
- Assume expanded responsibilities as needed (e.g., charge nurse, preceptor, committee involvement) based on unit needs and patient census.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York (RN NY license only)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry experience required
- Minimum two (2) years of RN experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts (D/E/N) with Every Other Weekend (EOW), holidays/on-call/callback
- Ability to work in an inpatient acute care setting
