Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Assess patient condition, interpret findings, and modify care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders; monitor responses and manage adverse effects as needed.
- Document all care provided and ensure accurate, timely records; communicate changes to the care team.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; apply professional judgment and supervisory discretion.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines and support transitions of care within the home-based hospice setting.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the United States; California licensure or eligibility by endorsement preferred for California assignments.
- ER nursing experience; travel nursing or hospice-adjacent experience considered favorable.
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week) in a home healthcare - hospice setting.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, critical thinking, and independent judgment; effective communication with patients, families, and team members.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
