Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele (Telemetry) for a travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. Start date: 06/29/2026. Duration: several weeks per assignment. Weekly pay: $2,032–$2,152. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 3x12 night shifts. Shift: Nights, 3x12. Setting: acute care, adult inpatient unit with telemetry, supporting Neuro/Ortho, Med/Surg, and Stroke/CVA care.

Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry for adult patients on MS/Telemetry with neuro and ortho considerations
- Provide post‑operative care for orthopedic procedures (total joint replacements) and stroke/CVA care
- Initiate and maintain IV access, PICC line management, and PCA administration per protocol
- Implement isolation precautions and PPE protocols; adhere to infection control standards
- Document care and care plans in Epic; participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care coordination
Requirements
- Active RN license; license submission per state rules: Illinois requires license in hand at submittal; Missouri may allow submittal without MO license (see state rules). Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years preferred; first-timers accepted
- Certifications: BCLS/BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS may be required depending on site
- Relevant skills: Telemetry monitoring, IV starts and maintenance, PCA management, stroke/CVA care, orthopedic post-op care, isolation precautions/PPE
- Education: RN credential required; Epic charting experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, adult inpatient setting with unit census around 21 patients and a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
