Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery, Everett, WA. Travel assignment starting 09/21/2026 for weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,339–$2,406. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Work setting: hospital with high-risk perinatal care and Level II NICU capabilities. Orientation to the unit is 40 hours.

Responsibilities
- Provide intrapartum care with 1:1 labor support, sterile vaginal exams, and continuous fetal monitoring (external/internal, including IUPC)
- Assist or circulate for cesarean deliveries and support recovery
- Neonatal care duties: NRP, newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and stabilization as needed
- Postpartum and couplet care: hemorrhage management, breastfeeding support, discharge planning and teaching
- Manage high-risk antepartum conditions (e.g., preeclampsia/HELLP, magnesium sulfate, induction/oxytocin, VBAC planning)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (respiratory, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, rapid response, interpretation services)
- Documentation in Epic electronic health record; participate in 24/7 on-site coverage for delivering providers and CRNAs
Requirements
- Active RN license; compact RN license must be in hand at submission
- Certifications: BLS (BCLS), ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate OR Relias Fetal Monitoring (all hard stops)
- Experience: minimum 2 years clinical RN experience; first-time travel RNs accepted
- Education: current licensure as a Registered Nurse; ability to work in a hospital high-risk perinatal setting
- Special notes: facility does not accept Nursys or background discrepancies; SSN and DOB required for compliance; two references (within last 3 years); pre-start modules required; must commit to 3 of 5 listed holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day); orientation 40 hours
- Scheduling: guaranteed hours may be limited; clinician may be called off for 1 x 12-hour shift every 2 weeks
