Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, CO. Start date 07/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,733–$2,983. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and call rotation. Setting: hospital-based Family Birth Place team providing L&D care with OR, PACU, and postpartum services, including couplet care for approximately 60 deliveries per month and care for babies 32 weeks and up.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct labor and delivery nursing care for laboring and postpartum patients, including monitoring fetal heart rate, maternal vitals, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with OR, PACU, and postpartum teams to deliver couplet care and coordinate admissions, deliveries, and discharges.
- Participate in call rotations and respond to obstetric emergencies; support newborn care for babies 32 weeks and up.
- Document accurately in perinatal records, maintain infection control standards, and promote patient- and family-centered education.
- Uphold evidence-based practice and unit protocols to ensure a safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient experience.
Requirements
- Active Colorado RN license or compact license to practice in Colorado, in good standing
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required
- NRP Required
- STABLE Required
- Minimum experience: prior L&D experience as a Charge RN or equivalent role; travel experience preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting in Colorado and participate in a 12-hour night shift with rotating weekends and call
