Cardiovascular Technologist – Echo Tech travel assignment in York, Maine, United States. Start date 07/20/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,343–$2,422. Guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: 5x8 days. Hospital-based setting supporting the Cardiology team.

Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and diagnostic equipment for imaging procedures; obtain high-quality echocardiographic images
- Perform transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), stress echocardiography, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) as needed
- Assist physicians in interpreting data from imaging studies; ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping
- Educate patients and caregivers; advocate for patient care and safety, adhering to protocols
- Maintain equipment performance, monitor patient status, and manage study archiving and supply inventory
- Collaborate with providers, the Cardiology Director, Echo Tech lead, and other clinical staff to coordinate care
Requirements
- Registry in good standing with ARDMS or CCI as a Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS/RCS); if not currently registered, must obtain RDCS/RCES within 1 year of hire
- Proficiency in all adult echocardiography modalities, including TTE, Stress Echo, and TEE
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; infection control and safety training maintained per practice standards
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in a weekend call schedule (1 on 4 off)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; demonstrated ability to organize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
