Interventional Radiology Technologist | Radiology Tech, travel assignment in Los Angeles, California, starting 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a weekly pay range of $2,522 to $2,640. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. This travel assignment occurs in a home healthcare – hospice setting.

Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations; participate in interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a range of specialized equipment.
- Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images of heart and vascular structures; position and immobilize patients according to protocol; adjust technical factors as directed.
- Assist physicians with interventional procedures and specialized exams; enter approved technical factors into the system, including radiation dose and filming sequences.
- Manage patient positioning, contrast administration (as prescribed), fluoroscopy and cinefluorography to capture diagnostic-quality images.
- Support patient safety and comfort during procedures; monitor equipment function and image quality; document procedures and coordinate with the care team.
- Mentor and train staff on technical skills; contribute input on staff hiring and promotion decisions; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in radiologic technology; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: California Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required; ARRT certification preferred
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR from an approved vendor required; Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification required; TEAM or CPI training required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent radiology/interventional experience; interventional procedures or special procedures experience preferred
- Additional: Willingness to travel for a travel assignment; ability to work the listed shift and setting
