Travel Physical Therapist Job
Physical Therapist – travel assignment in Newport, Oregon. Start date 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: 4x10-hour days (0730–1800) with no weekend requirements. Work in an inpatient rehabilitation setting within a hospital-based department, delivering orthopedic rehab, neurological and stroke rehab, balance and dizziness rehab, and chronic pain treatment with movement.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions that limit mobility or functional independence in an inpatient rehab setting
- Deliver physical therapy across specialties including orthopedic rehab, neurological and stroke rehab, balance and dizziness rehab, and chronic pain treatment with movement-based strategies
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document progress, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, and community re-engagement
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, device use, safety, and fall prevention
- Travel to multiple points of care within the assigned area to provide timely therapy as scheduled
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
- Ability to travel to multiple points of care as needed
- Willingness to work in an inpatient rehabilitation department and adhere to facility policies
