Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor residents according to orders and facility policy
- Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
- Monitor vital signs, assess for changes in condition, and report to the supervising RN
- Document care provided, changes in resident status, and care plans electronically or on paper charts
- Assist with mobility, hygiene, and daily rehabilitation activities
- Maintain safety, infection control, and respectful resident interactions in a busy LTC setting
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Iowa
- Eligibility to practice in a long-term care setting
- Ability to work the scheduled 3 x 11.5-hour day shifts (08:00–19:30)
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment
