Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure safe, effective, and efficient patient care delivery.
- Administer treatments and medications, interpret diagnostic tests, and participate in forming and adjusting a plan of care.
- Educate patients and family members, and provide support across the care team to improve patient outcomes.
- Document accurately and communicate changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
- Contribute to performance improvement efforts and quality outcomes in patient care.
Requirements
- Current California RN license
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Ability to apply the nursing process in delivering care across diverse patient populations
- RTO not approved unless noted in the offer
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and perform duties in a Med Surg environment
Education and Certifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- California RN license (active)
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications
