Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a travel assignment in the Long-Term Care specialty, located in Cody, Wyoming. This 13-week assignment is in a surgery center setting with two floors; you may float between floors to support patient care. Start date is 04/20/2026, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. A 100-mile radius rule applies to permanent addresses, and timely start is expected for this assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents/patients within the LPN scope, including medication administration, wound care, vital signs monitoring, and routine procedures per care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, observe responses, document accurately, and communicate changes to the care team.
- Monitor patient status, identify changes, and escalate concerns to the charge nurse or provider as needed; collaborate with the interprofessional team.
- Assist with activities of daily living and rehabilitation needs; promote safety, comfort, and patient dignity.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record; follow infection prevention and facility policies; ensure continuity of care across shifts.
- May float between two floors to support unit needs and adapt to unit workflow while maintaining required standards of care.
Requirements
- Active LPN license (Wyoming) or eligibility to practice in Wyoming
- Practical Nursing Diploma or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience; long-term care experience preferred
- Ability to work 3x12-hour daytime shifts; ability to float between floors and adapt to a surgery center environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
