Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and state regulations
- Monitor resident status, document vitals, changes in condition, and respond promptly to changes
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and support mobility, comfort, and safety
- Participate in care planning with the interdisciplinary team and update progress notes
- Ensure infection control protocols, medication administration accuracy, and overall resident safety
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Prior long-term care experience preferred
