Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel) | Olathe, KS, United States
Start date: April 26, 2026 | Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly pay: $2,067–$2,146 per week | Guaranteed hours: none
Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (12-hour nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) three days per week
Setting: Short-term acute care hospital, Telemetry unit (4N Cardiac)

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult telemetry patients, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs
- Assess patient conditions, implement care plans, administer prescribed medications, and escalate changes promptly
- Participate in post-procedure care, including TR Band management when applicable, and assist with initiation of cardiac medications and initiation processes (e.g., Tikosyn/Sotalol) as trained
- Document care and assessments accurately in EPIC EMR; communicate with physician and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Maintain patient safety through adherence to unit policies, infection control practices, and safe medication administration
- Collaborate with telemetry, cardiology, and other inpatient teams; respond to alarms and patient needs in a timely manner
Requirements
- Active Kansas RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience
- Experience with post-procedure telemetry and basic management of cardiac drips and initiation processes
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; willingness to float to all acute care units
- EPIC EMR experience or strong computerized charting proficiency
