Start date: 08/18/2026. Contract duration: 22-26 weeks, must run through holidays. Weekly pay: $1,995-$2,115 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: Full-time evenings (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM), 5x8s with every-other-weekend coverage. Work setting: Skilled Nursing Facility. This travel temporary assignment requires active New York State RN licensure and clinical leadership capabilities within long-term care.

Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Director of Nursing - LTC, oversee nursing unit operations and provide clinical supervision to staff on assigned units.
- Ensure quality resident care by teaching and supervising staff on respective shifts.
- Communicate identified or potential unit problems to the Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Manager; collaborate to resolve issues; contact the DON on off hours for critical items and document ongoing communications.
- Make sound administrative decisions in the absence of the DON and the Administrator within the scope of responsibility, including off-shift and weekend coverage.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff, department managers, ancillary services, and residents and families; model professional, courteous behavior and teamwork.
- Demonstrate leadership, manage multiple priorities, remain resilient under pressure, and uphold NYSDOH requirements and facility policies.

Requirements
- Licensure: Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) licensure
- Certifications: BLS required (AHA or RQI system); CPI obtained within 90 days of hire
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care with supervisor/clinical lead responsibilities across multiple units (charge-only experience not accepted)
- Preferred: BSN
- Skills: Strong leadership, interpersonal, written and oral communication; ability to collaborate with medical staff, managers, and multidisciplinary teams; proficient with typical LTC workflows and applicable NYSDOH requirements
