Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire, United States. Start date: 07/20/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,150–$2,331 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts. Setting: Hospital in a high-acuity ICU environment. This assignment is a travel temporary position with a focus on critical care nursing across ICU patient care.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients on admission using interview techniques to obtain medical history, current status, vitals, labs, imaging, and other diagnostics.
- Plan and implement a written care plan under physician direction, delivering direct and indirect patient care.
- Monitor patients’ conditions in the ICU, respond to changes, and escalate as needed; administer medications and manage ICU equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to adjust care plans, document interventions, and communicate changes to families as appropriate.
- Maintain thorough, accurate nursing documentation and ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to unit policies.
- May float to Progressive Care (3N) when required, maintaining competency across relevant units.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Licenses: Valid New Hampshire RN license (active)
- Certifications: BLS certification required; ACLS required
- Special certifications/skills: NIHSS required; CRRT experience required; Balloon Pump experience required
- Experience: 3 years of nursing experience preferred
- Additional requirements: Holiday availability required; every other weekend required
- Competencies: Ability to work in a high-acuity ICU setting; strong math, analytical, and communication skills
