Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; document accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor patient status and telemetry data, respond to changes, and escalate concerns per protocol.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Administer medications and treatments; ensure safety, accuracy, and patient comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians and the health care team; communicate clearly and maintain continuity of care.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in California
- Ability to work in a hospital telemetry environment
- Availability for 3x12-hour day shifts
- Ability to meet credentialing and onboarding requirements for travel assignments
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
