Travel Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Job
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) needed for a travel temporary assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting. Location: Geneva, New York, United States. Start date: 04/14/2026. Assignment duration: 14 weeks. Weekly pay: $307-$331 per week. Shift: 2x8 Rotating (evenings orientation). This is a travel assignment with Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Orientation on the first day is required.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the plan of care, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence care, elimination, turning/positioning, and skin care. Documentation completed per protocol.
- Maintain resident environment and safety, respond promptly to call lights and alarms, implement safety measures, monitor equipment, and ensure cleanliness of the unit. Documentation completed per protocol.
- Support residents’ nutritional needs per the plan of care, including tray delivery, meal preparation, feeding assistance, and documenting intake as required.
- Facilitate rehabilitative/restorative care such as range of motion, ambulation, transfers, proper body alignment, and use of assistive devices; document progress per protocol.
- Respect residents’ rights and preferences; report refusals, concerns, or changes in status to the Charge Nurse in a timely manner per facility policy.
- Adhere to infection control and safety policies; observe for and report any signs of distress or safety hazards; follow universal precautions due to exposure to blood or body fluids.
Requirements
- Active NYS Nursing Assistant Certification (NYS CNA)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or RQI for Healthcare Providers)
- Minimum of 1 year of previous LTC experience; must be licensed for at least 1 year
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment and comply with facility policies
- Availability to participate in orientation and to work the assigned rotating shifts
