Travel Radiology Tech Multimodality Technologist Job
Radiology Tech, Multimodality Technologist – Templeton, California. This travel - temporary assignment is at a short-term acute care hospital setting. Start date: 08/24/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,901-$2,988 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 5x8 Nights. The role involves operating x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment and contributing to departmental objectives by performing at least three modalities regularly.

Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment across multiple modalities (x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography) and perform at least three modalities regularly.
- Safely transport and position patients; prepare and administer contrast as needed; perform mobile imaging when required.
- Maintain image quality and equipment readiness; follow QA procedures and radiation safety guidelines.
- Document procedures and results accurately in the designated EMR; collaborate with radiologists and the imaging team to meet department goals.
- Monitor patient condition, assist with emergency readiness (defibrillator checks, crash cart), and ensure smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.
- Adapt to modality assignments and participate in ongoing education to maintain credentialing across required techniques, including fluoro and IV access where applicable.
Requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice (California) and ARRT certification required. Must hold current certification in at least one advanced modality (e.g., CT, MRI, Mammography, NM, S or PET) and be able to perform duties in at least one additional approved modality. ARRT-R required; ARRT-CT or ARRT-M or ARRT-MRI or ARMRIT or ARRT-NMT or SNMT or ARRT-S or RDMS/RDCS or CCI-RCS or RTPET as applicable. Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required.
- Experience: Three years’ technical imaging experience preferred.
- Other: Must have EPIC experience. Fluoroscopy experience and IV certificate (or willingness to obtain) preferred. California radiologic technologist credential required.
