Registered Nurse, First Assist — Templeton, California. This travel, temporary assignment begins 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,848 to $3,016 per week. Responsibilities
- Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care across the perioperative continuum.
- Coordinate, manage, provide and delegate patient care to support recovery and safety.
- Meet established Standards of Nursing Practice and promote cooperation among the health care team.
- Align with personal accountabilities defined in the Tenet Standards of Conduct (Service, People, Quality, Growth, Cost).
- Assist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in the perioperative care of patients undergoing a surgical experience.
- Function as RNFA within facility policies and guidelines, exhibiting leadership and professionalism in the expanded role.
- This position is represented by CNA and follows facility-wide perioperative policies.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (CA) and eligibility to practice in the perioperative setting.
- Perioperative nursing experience or RN First Assistant responsibilities preferred (as described in the job notes).
- Ability to work Days shift; 10-hour blocks; 40 hours per week.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with surgical teams and follow established standards of care.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills.
- Must meet the responsibilities and accountabilities outlined for perioperative nursing roles.
