Mid Level
Step into a dynamic role as a Speech Language Pathologist in California’s Willows, starting 02/23/2026. In this specialty, your expertise unlocks meaningful communication, enabling children and adults to participate fully in learning, work, and daily life. You’ll evaluate, treat, and empower individuals across a spectrum of needs—from articulation and language development to fluency, voice, and swallowing therapy—collaborating with families, educators, physicians, and other clinicians to build practical, person-centered plans. The impact you’ll have goes beyond therapy sessions; you’ll illuminate possibilities, restore confidence, and help people find their voice in school, community, and home. Separately, the state’s remarkable beauty—from the redwood coast to the Sierra, from wine country to the tranquil rivers of the Central Valley—offers daily inspiration and space to unwind in nature between appointments.
Willows—this welcoming Northern California community sits along the Sacramento Valley’s open spaces, offering a safe, family-friendly environment with easy access to outdoor adventures. You’ll find a close-knit town atmosphere, where collaboration with colleagues and families is both supported and celebrated. Beyond Willows, you’ll have the opportunity to work across various locations in the U.S., gaining exposure to diverse school districts, clinics, and hospital settings that enrich your clinical toolkit. This blend of familiarity and variety keeps your professional growth dynamic while you enjoy the unique benefits of residing in California—coastal getaways within a few hours, mountain escapes, and a climate that invites year-round outdoor activity. The role is designed to balance steady, meaningful clinical time with the adventure of travel, so you can experience communities from coast to coast while advancing your specialty.
Role specifics and benefits begin with a robust clinical remit. You’ll conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify communication, swallowing, and feeding needs; design and implement individualized therapy plans across multiple modalities, including articulation, language development, fluency, voice, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication), and pediatric feeding strategies; monitor progress with data-driven documentation in electronic health records; collaborate with teachers, physicians, and families to ensure consistent, holistic care; provide coaching and family education to empower caregivers; participate in multidisciplinary rounds and school-based or clinical teams; and adapt therapy approaches to the setting—schools, hospitals, or outpatient clinics—while maintaining compliance with licensing and professional standards. You’ll have opportunities to advance within the specialty, pursuing expertise in early intervention, AAC implementation, dysphagia management, or pediatric feeding, and to assume leadership or mentoring roles as you gain experience. Our program supports extension opportunities through ongoing placements, so you can deepen your impact with continued assignments beyond the initial weeks.
Compelling benefits accompany the clinical work. The position offers a competitive weekly pay range of $2,458-$2,520, with 36 guaranteed hours per week, and a start date on 02/23/2026. In addition to strong compensation, you’ll find a sign-on bonus and housing assistance designed to ease transitions across postings. Our travel model also emphasizes flexibility and continuity, with extension opportunities that let you stay longer in a setting you’ve mastered or rotate to new locations as your interests and the needs of the communities evolve. A comprehensive support network is in place for every traveler: 24/7 assistance from a dedicated team while you’re on the road, ongoing clinical support, access to housing resources, and a streamlined process to address any concerns quickly so you can focus on delivering exceptional patient care. This framework ensures you have the resources, guidance, and stability to perform at your best, no matter where your assignment takes you.
Our company values empowerment, collaboration, and growth. We are committed to supporting your career advancement and well-being by providing mentorship, continuing education opportunities, and a work environment that respects diverse backgrounds and perspectives. You’ll join a culture that recognizes your contributions, celebrates your professional development, and equips you with tools to flourish across settings—whether you choose to specialize further, extend your stay in Willows, or explore new communities nationwide. The emphasis is on sustainable growth, work-life balance, and a sense of belonging within a mission-driven team that prioritizes compassionate, evidence-based care.
