Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery in Rochester, New York. This travel, temporary assignment begins on 06/08/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients across high, moderate, and low risk categories in labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care for laboring patients and their families.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, perform focused assessments, administer medications, and support progression of labor according to plan of care.
- Demonstrate strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced obstetric environment.
- Float among OB/GYN units as needed, maintaining competency and safety across services such as obstetric triage and post-delivery care.
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and uphold patient- and family-centered care standards.
Requirements
- Active RN license in New York (NY ONLY)
- Minimum two (2) years of obstetrics labor and delivery experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Required
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and float across OB/GYN units as needed
- Education: Registered Nurse with current NY licensure
