Travel Physical Therapist Job

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations of patients to determine PT needs and set measurable treatment goals.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized physical therapy treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, balance and gait training, and functional activities.
- Document patient progress, maintain accurate charts, and complete discharge planning and follow-up recommendations.
- Monitor patient response to treatment, modify plans as needed, and ensure safety and compliance with professional standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and communicate progress with patients, families, and staff.
- Maintain equipment, uphold infection control practices, and contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment.
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
- Active Physical Therapist license or eligibility to practice in the United States (licensure in North Carolina or eligibility by licensure compacts preferred).
- Ability to work the scheduled shift and commit to a 13-week travel assignment in the Mount Olive area.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills; ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team.
- Prior PT experience in relevant settings is preferred but not required; willingness to adapt to a travel role and new environments.
