Travel Surgical Tech – Trauma-focused OR support in Atlanta, GA. Start date May 18, 2026. Assignment duration 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,375–$1,439. Guaranteed hours 40 per week. Shift is 10-hour days, four days per week (10x4) with a dayshift schedule from 6:45 am to 5:15 pm. This assignment involves on-call, holidays, and weekends with no block scheduling. Work setting is an acute surgical services environment requiring Level 1 trauma experience.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical cases; assist surgeons and circulators as needed
- Set up instruments, pass scopes and implants, maintain accurate counts, and manage implants and devices
- Assist with patient positioning, specimen labeling, and specimen handling per protocol
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and adhere to infection control and safety standards
- Support OR turnover between cases; restock and organize supplies and equipment
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team to support patient safety during trauma procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Level 1 trauma experience; must be listed in work history as such; strong rating on skills checklist
- Surgical Tech experience in high-acuity, trauma-focused surgical environments
- Ability to work 10-hour days, four days per week, with on-call, holidays, and weekends
- Eligibility to meet credentialing and facility policy requirements for perioperative roles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress surgical setting and follow precise procedural guidelines
- Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail in sterile technique and instrument handling
